Drawing the cathedrals with the eyes closed felt as though I was doing the right thing. This is perhaps because I already had the picture of a cathedral clearly in my mind. I expected that the picture that I drew with my eyes closed would be exactly the same as the cathedral picture I had in mind. I conceptualize the cathedral as circular buildings with pyramidal roofing. I also conceptualized that the cathedra had rectangular windows all around. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and I was not satisfied with the results.

I would not say that drawing the cathedral with my eyes closed helped me better understand the cathedral's ending. As seen from the image attached, a third party would hardly tell that the drawing shows a cathedral. Perhaps, the exercise would have enhanced my understanding of a cathedral if it was done with all the senses functional.

The fact that I could not draw the cathedral as well with my eyes closed poses a message regarding the interconnectedness s of the body parts. The ideal lesson is that the human body is made up of different interconnected parts that must all be functional for the larger body to function effectively; in the absence of one body part, like the eyes, human beings would not function effectively. The moral lesson is that all people in society are uniquely enabled and contribute to overall wellness and society sustainability. Thereof, everybody is important and deserves respect, care, and love...
