1 International Business Environment Introduction Financial globalisation is a phenomenon that has particularly gained momentum in the last decade of the 20th Century through to the new millennium. The numerous inventions in information technology and advanced management practices have been of great influence in enabling countries to consider financial globalisation as an option for triggering and sustaining internal development.
