Festive family fun with plenty of singing, dancing and good cheer, and of course a visit from Santa Claus. Local primary schools will be singing carols and Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society (MADS) will be putting on a very special musical performance. It’s a community event not to be missed!

Be part of the festive glee at our Twilight Market, offering creative crafts and fabulous food, it’s the perfect place to pick up some glorious yuletide gifts. Also take time to visit Millennium Court Arts Centre between 7.00pm and 9.00pm on this evening to pick up more magnificent food and gifts.

Meet him at the annual Christmas Lights Switch On and Twilight Market event. Come along to enjoy the festive atmosphere, street entertainment and visit our magical Twilight Market showcasing local artists, handmade crafts and Christmas delights. Get into the festive spirit and watch the trees sparkle while you explore and indulge your senses.

GEORGIAN DAY LIGHT SHOW 'A CHRISTMAS CRACKER' SATURDAY 30 NOVEMBER 5.30PM | 6.30PM | 7.30PM | 8.15PM MARKET SQUARE | ARMAGH FREE EVENT Join the crowds for an unmissable experience as the city lights up on Georgian Day. The dramatic ‘A Christmas Cracker’ light show will transform the Market House, a beautiful Georgian building, into a shimmering canvas for images, special effects and other surprises.

Ticket wristbands are available to book online from 10.00am on Tuesday 5 November and are limited to 4 tickets per person.

Ticket wristbands can also be collected in person, free of charge from Armagh Visitor Information Centre, 40 English Street, Armagh BT61 7BA or posted out (additional postage charge applies). Please be aware that access into the Market Square site for prams and pushchairs will be difficult but an unmanned pram park will be available close to the entrance.

A limited number of accessible viewing spaces will be available and must be booked in advance through Armagh Visitor Information Centre T: 028 3752 1800 W: visitarmagh.com/georgian Please note that admission to the Light Show is by wristband only.

THE GREAT GEORGIAN BANQUET: AN EVENING IN VIENNA FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER | 7.00PM - MIDNIGHT THE PALACE, PALACE DEMESNE | £85.00 Enjoy Armagh in all its glory as the city retraces its steps back to its Georgian roots. Be whisked away through the mists of time to charming Vienna, capital of Habsburg Empire under Emperor Joseph II in the historical setting of the former Archbishop’s Palace.

Encounter the golden age of a city alive with 18th Century baroque culture – enchanting music, architectural masterpieces, spectacular palaces and coffee house culture. This exclusive (black tie optional) event will include a sumptuous five-course meal prepared by the Yellow Door, evoking the menus of the time but served with a modern twist.

The evening concludes with a Viennese Serenade with authentic Viennese songs and operetta arias performed by the Irish singer Niamh McCormack and Dublin harpist Teresa O’Donnell.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council is hosting an Autism and SEN relaxed Christmas experience for families in the Millennium Court Arts Centre.

You will be greeted and guided by the North Star Elf, the first stop on your journey will be to enter Santa’s grotto for a small gift and a family photograph. You will then be invited to enter a sensory room to enjoy a range of activities including arts and crafts, multisensory installations, virtual reality headsets and storytelling with Mrs Claus. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and sweet treats as you post your letter to Santa and make your reindeer food.

During the workshop each participant will get to throw on the potter’s wheel and decorate two mugs each with their own design, as well as trying their hand at other techniques including coiling and pulling handles.

Participants will end the day with a selection of pots, which be glazed and fired in a kiln.

The pots will be ready for collection from The Market Place Theatre a few weeks later.
