On June 13, 2023, the United States Postal Service unveiled 12 new stamps that aim to celebrate the variety and beauty of waterfalls throughout the country at an event in Yellowstone National Park.

Each stamp in the new series features a photograph with the name of the waterfall and the state in which it is located beneath it. Yellowstone’s iconic Lower Falls is featured as one of the 12 new stamps.

“As the name suggests, Forever Stamps can be used to mail a one-ounce letter regardless of when the stamps are purchased or used and no matter how prices may change in the future,” says the USPS. “Forever Stamps are always sold at the same price as a regular First-Class Mail stamp.”

Framing the stamps is a selvage that again features David B. Vernon’s LaSalle Canyon image. Art Director Greg Breeding designed the stamps and pane with existing photographs.
