The Electricity Program IS BACK! This program runs through November 17th. All ACTIVE clients that apply and qualify, will receive a ONE-TIME credit of $150 to their electric provider. Clients must provide a full current electric bill and application. The bill must indicate the service address. Contact Makayla Granados with any questions pertaining to this program.

ACA: November 1st January 15th This is the only time period during the year other than a special enrollment period- that Americans can sign up for a plan or switch to a different health plan. Any client making $13,550 or above per year and doesn't have health insurance provided by their employer is eligible for premium, copay, and medication assistance from ACCT. ACCT will be observing World AIDS Day on Friday, December 1 with an evening of remembrance. We are hosting a panel of the AIDS Memorial Quilt submitted by the Galveston community in 2007. The evening will include a viewing of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, speakers, music, light refreshments, and placement of stones on the Wall of Remembrance for those we’ve lost to AIDS over the past year.

Pantry Delivery Program We are accepting applications for the Pantry Delivery Program! This program was created to provide access to pantry services to our clients with significant barriers to access ACCT for monthly pantry services. Pick up an application at our campus or follow the link below.

We offer FREE confidential HIV and Syphilis Testing Monday 9am-7pm Tues-Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-Noon Walk-in or schedule an appointment. Do you want to get on PrEP? PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is medicine taken to prevent acquiring HIV. Most insurance plans and Medicaid programs cover the cost of PrEP. If you are uninsured, we can help you get on PrEP for Free/Low Cost.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Galveston Island Turkey Trot. A beautiful, flat course on the famous Galveston Island Seawall. Run or Walk with perfect views of the Gulf Coast. The distance is a 5K encouraging runners, walkers, friends & family to come together to Turkey Trot! This is an out and back course with a post-race party ending at Menard Park behind the McGuire-Dent Recreation Center. Costumes are Welcome!
