Give us a call to schedule your appointment. Failure to update by the end of August will affect the services you receive from us.
-REMINDERDO YOU GET INSURANCE ASSISTANCE THROUGH ACCT? It's crucial to update your information. For ACCT to pay, you are required to maintain a APTC tax credit on your plan. If you do not take care of this in a timely manner, that tax credit will be removed.
-HOUSINGElectric Bill Relief Program July 18 – September 9, 2022 ACCT is happy to announce the return of the Electric Bill Relief Program! This assistance program focuses on active clients maintaining their electric utility services during the excessive heat this summer. This program runs through September 9, 2022. All clients that apply and qualify, will receive a ONETIME assistance payment of $100.00 to their current electric service provider. This is applied as a credit to the client’s account. Clients must submit their entire current electric bill (bill must indicate service address) along with a completed application available in the office. This program is available to all active clients of ACCT. Contact Steve Starkey with any questions pertaining to this program.

Thank you so much to Jesse Jaynes and COTAD at UTMB for hosting the FABULOUS Skate Away with Pride event held in June! They raised over $2000 for ACCT! What a wonderful way to celebrate pride month with friends!
Drum Roll, Please!
An enormous thank you to Texas United Charities and 23rd Street Station Piano Bar for hosting the GTUC event on June 25th. They raised an amazing $5,500 for our agency. We were all left speechless when they surprised us with additional $4,500 during the presentation!
ACCT received a grand total of $10,000!

We Offer Free Confidential HIV and Syphilis Testing Monday 9am-7pm Tues-Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-Noon Walk-in or schedule an appointment. What works best for you? Do you want to get on PrEP? Call 409-763-2437 to schedule an appointment. PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is medicine taken to prevent acquiring HIV. Most insurance plans and Medicaid programs cover the cost of PrEP. If you are uninsured, we can help you get on PrEP for Free/Low Cost.
We are looking for new friends to help us serve nutritious meals every Thursday. We currently serve on average 3040 clients and their family members. Planning and the help from our community partners make it possible for us to offer a healthy balanced meal. We find casseroles are usually the easiest and can provide a well-rounded lunch. Anyone wishing to prepare & serve a meal or financially support a lunch with a $100.00 donation please email us at give@accttexas.org
