ACCT GOES TO THE RODEO April 22-April 30.

Many families look forward to the annual Galveston County Fair and Rodeo. For the first time, ACCT will be at the rodeo! ACCT will be partnering with UTMB and St. Vincent's for the Wellness Walkway. The Wellness Walkway will consist of community partners handing out health information, engaging in conversations related to health and wellbeing.The purpose of the fair and rodeo is to serve the youth of Galveston County by promoting education and agriculture through the FFA and 4-H programs.

ACCT will be CLOSED on Tuesday April 5th from 1:15pm-3:45pm and Good Friday, April 15th

Happy Easter Sunday April 17th Telephone Assistance Program

Fill out an application to have ACCT to make a one-time payment of $100.00 credit towards your phone bill.

Program ends Friday April 29th

The ACA health insurance program is opening up again beginning March 28th until April 29th.

The coverage will begin on May 1st, 2022.

To qualify, your income must be between 100% and 150% of the federal poverty level.

Throughout the year, you may also qualify for health insurance coverage under a special circumstances clause.

Those qualifying circumstances are: 1)Moved to a different county 2)Been recently released from incarceration 3)Got a new job 4)Recently been married If you have any questions about insurance, please reach out to Sally Laird at 409-763-2437 April 2022

We are looking for new friends to help us serve nutritious meals every Thursday.

We currently serve on average 30-40 clients and their family members.

Planning and the help from our community partners make it possible for us to offer a healthy balanced meal. We find casseroles are usually the easiest and can provide a well-rounded lunch. Anyone wishing to prepare & serve a meal or financially support a lunch with a $100.00 donation please email us at give@accttexas.org
