Treasure Map

Number of players: 2, or 2 teams
Materials: 2 dice, 1 piece per player.
Objective: be the first to reach Dragon Island and the treasure.
How to play: First, each player should pick one of the two routes on the map in order to reach Dragon Island and claim the treasure. Once that’s done, position your boat-piece at the start of your route, on one of the red circles at the left side of the map. Take turns throwing one die: whoever gets the highest number goes first. Roll again, but this time with both dice. In fact, that’s the only rule of the game! Each player has to roll the two dice. If and only if both

display the same number can you move, following this point scheme: double 1, 2, 4, or 5 = 5 points double 6 = 25 points (lucky you!)
But be careful: rolling a double 3 means going back to start (oh no!) and trying to tempt fate again. And if the numbers rolled don’t match?
Do nothing and skip a turn!
The first to reach Dragon Island wins, passing the red circle on the right that indicates the end of the route.
You’ve found the knight’s sword. So, you decide to keep searching all night long. Throw the dice again!

How to play: After having placed your piece on the starting point, take turns rolling the die. Whoever gets the higher number goes first, rolling the die again to see how many spaces to move. But before starting, be sure to place the dragon’s spell tokens on the spaces with the purple symbol. Whoever lands on one will be bewitched by the dragon’s spell. Check to see what spell it is using the key to the right, and do exactly as required. If you don’t, or if you forget or stop during the game, you’ll have to go back to start. To break the spell, you have to land on a circle with the white symbol. To save the

Once the board is all set up on the sail of the frightened Vikings’ boat, players can take turns moving their pieces. Here’s how to play: dragon pieces can be moved onto an adjacent intersection point if it’s free, including the central point. You can’t jump to intersection points far from your piece: as hard as it is to make dragon cubs listen, they have
to understand that this move isn’t allowed! The first player to get three in a row, either diagonally, horizontally or vertically, wins. But that’s not all: the three in a row can be on the larger square or the smaller ones, it’s up to you!

Number of players: 2 to 4

Lava River
How to play: When crossing the lava river, it isn’t the heat and flames that frighten dragons, but rather who they may run into... This is the exact place where the fiercest duels take place! Here’s how players who dare to challenge each other should proceed. After having chosen and placed their pieces on the stairs at the top left, at the beginning of the path, and after having rolled the die to decide in which order to proceed, players can start moving the number of

Number of players: 3 to 4
Materials: 2 dice, 2 matching pieces per player. Objective: to end up with the last token in hand.
How to play: Roll the dice to decide who goes first, second, etc. Then, each player places his or her tokens on one of the dragons at the corners of the board.
You can then start collecting the treasure under the dragon, following these rules:
- If you roll 1 on one of the dice, you can place 1 token under the dragon.
- If you roll double 1, you can add 2 tokens (or 1, if that’s all you have).
The Dragon’s Treasure

- If you roll a 6 , you have to give 1 token to the player to your left. - If you roll double 6, you have to give 2 tokens to the player to your left. If you roll any other combination of numbers, do nothing and skip a turn. Don’t give up if you run out of tokens! You might just get a token from one of the other players. The game continues until all the tokens
in play are placed in the spaces underneath the dragon - except one: whoever has the last token will then throw one die 3 times. If that player rolls anything except 6, he or she wins. If the die lands on 6, the player sitting to his/her left has to try and win the same challenge. The first player to roll the die three times without getting a 6

and wait, with a sly smile, for the brave knights that will try to save her - that’s you! Don’t let the dragon (or princess) down: be the first to reach the damsel in distress. second, etc., start playing, moving the number of spaces you’ve rolled. But watch out! The big dragon has sent his dragon-guards out on the attack! If you happen to stumble across one of them, they’ll send you back to the starting point! If, on the other hand, you land on a circle with a diamond, left by the princess as a clue for her rescuers, you can
roll the die again. And if you come across another knight along the way? Well, you have to have a duel, of course, by rolling two dice: whoever gets the highest score (adding the numbers rolled on the dice), can roll one die and keep going, while the other player has to skip a turn. The first one to reach the princess in the castle wins.
Pieces
All the pieces you need to play the games in this book are found here.
To create the character pieces, detach them from the page along with the bases that, once assembled, will ensure they stand up. The tokens require no assembly - just remove them from the page. Once you’ve finished playing, you can put all the pieces back in their places, until the next game!

These ancient dice were found along with the dragon’s treasure. Nobody knows if they were taken from some wizard or created by the dragons themselves, but one thing is certain: they’re much more ornate than normal dice!
To assemble them: remove the four pieces from the page and combine them as shown at right.
To use them, roll them as you would any other dice, reading the number that appears on top. Then move your piece that same number of spaces.

Time to start playing!
Have fun!
