EACH KEY TO ITS OWN LOCK! my notes

How do you open tiny doors that promise to lead you to wonderful gardens? With a suitable key, of course! You need to pay great attention to every type of lock you come across, because you might not always possess the right key. Or have a body the perfect size to walk through the door!

Little Alice’s journey to WONDERLAND is extremely slow, almost like one ofthose flights that we sometimes take during dreams. The hole she slips into leads her down a deep and bizarre well: on the steep earthen walls there are shelves and paintings, geographical maps and evenjarsoforangemarmalade!

THE MOST LOVED GAME

In Wonderland, CROQUET is the most popular pastime, especially in the KINGDOM OF HEARTS! However, practicing it is not easy at all, especially for those who have never done it before. The balls are hedgehogs that don’t always stay still, while the pink flamingos are used as clubs: unfortunately, they can’t be handled very easily!

ROSE COLOR

A magnificent flower with perfumed petals could be the cause of great danger … that of losing one’s head! Nothing infuriates the QUEEN OF HEARTS like having her orders ignored.

AND A BUSH OF WHITE ROSES, WHEN SHE WANTS THEM RED, IS A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE SOLVED QUICKLY WITH LOTS OF RED PAINT!

MY ENCOUNTERS

THE SCARECROW

A puppet filled with straw, useful for keeping birds away from the fields: a rather boring occupation!

For this reason, the scarecrow prefers to stroll around the Kingdom of Oz.

HE FOLLOWS DOROTHY, TRYING TO REACH THE EMERALD CITY AND THE WIZARD, WHO COULD GIVE HIM A BRAIN!

THE TIN MAN

Every part of his body is made of metal: he’s a woodcutter and he has to be very careful not to rust and to remain unable to move forever!

HIS DREAM IS TO HAVE A HEART TO BE ABLE TO LOVE AGAIN AND HIS ONLY HOPE IS THE MIGHTY WIZARD OF OZ.

THE LION

Those who fear the king of the forest for his ferocity, will be satisfied at the sight of this particular lion: it is a very fearful animal, which uses its mighty roar to spread terror even if he is certainly the most frightened one!

A GOOD DOSE OF COURAGE WOULD CERTAINLY NOT HURT HIM, PERHAPS IN THE EMERALD CITY HE WILL BE ABLE TO FIND SOME.

THE MIGHTY WIZARD

No one knows his true appearance. Whoever is admitted before him sees something different: a beautiful lady dressed in green, a ball of fire, or a ferocious beast…

... THE MYSTERY AROUND THE POWERFUL WIZARD IS THICK AND SCARY.

HOOK

Even if he appears dressed like a dandy, the Captain is a real and dangerous tough guy. Even more cruel since he lost a hand to Peter Pan: he now sports a shiny and sharp hook!

THE PIRATES’ HOUSE

The great pirate ship is an astonishing and frightening vessel because of the ruthless individuals who live on it.

BETTER TO OBSERVE IT ONLY FROM AFAR AND NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO THE BAY WHERE IT IS ANCHORED.

TINKERBELL

Fairies originate from the laughter of infants, they are graceful flying beings. Tinkerbell, however, is known for having a little bit of a quick temper!

BETTER LEAVE HER ALONE!

THIS IS A REAL SIZE DRAWING!

CURLY

A group of orphaned and lost children live alone on the island following Peter Pan. One of them is sweet Curly, who, like the others, won’t be able to remain in this world of enchantment when he grows old.

Camelot and Avalon

The tales of a court made up of noble knights and valiant ladies are well known to all, and many have dreamed of reaching the castle to closely observe what they heard. The myth of Camelot is strongly linked to its ruler, King Arthur, and his knights who sit around a legendary round table.

The court of Camelot is closely influenced by magic, the core of which is found in a place called Avalon. It’s a hidden and mysterious island, where the half-sister of the ruler of Camelot lives, the great sorceress Morgana.

Through bitter duels and bloody battles, the knights and their ruler find a refuge in the court of Camelot where they can rest and restore their spirit. The island of Avalon, on the other hand, is a place to find shelter in case of great danger, as happens to the sovereign himself when he is seriously wounded in combat.

MY ENCOUNTERS

A DANGEROUS SORCERESS

King Arthur has a half-sister named Morgana, dedicated to the magical arts and wielder of great power.

APPARENTLY, THE TWO DON’T GET ALONG VERY WELL.

THE QUEEN

Guinevere is the wife of the king and queen of Camelot.

KNOWN FOR HER GENEROSITY AND HER KINDNESS TOWARDS HER SUBJECTS, SHE SITS ON THE THRONE WITH ARTHUR.

THE KING’S TUTOR

Taking care of the education of young Arthur was a powerful wizard named Merlin, who remained by his side as an adviser during his reign.

THE KNIGHT

Along with Gawain, Gareth and nine other brave men, Lancelot is one of the twelve knights at the kings’ personal service.

HE IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN RAISED IN THE SAME LAKE WHERE THE MIGHTY EXCALIBUR WAS HANDED TO THE KING.

If you see it waving atop a ship’s mast, better flee as far away as possible! Skull and crossbones on a black background: that’s the pirate flag!

IF YOU SEE THIS FLAG... RUN!

PRECIOUS MAPS

Without a well-designed map it is pointless to go on a treasure hunt: for this reason don’t forget to carry the parchment with the location of the treasure!

A FEATHERED CHATTERBOX

Parrots have always been pirates’ best friends and are able to face even long crossings at sea.

BUT AFTER MONTHS AT SEA, THEIR CHATTER CAN BECOME BORING.

LAND IN SIGHT!

Nothing better than reaching the island by sea, on a vessel capable of facing stormy waters and days when not a breath of wind rises. With a load of food and berths to sleep on, you can face a long journey on the waves.
