“Wow!”
Baby Dragon stares the entrance of the supermarket mouth wide open. On his side, Lily smiles at him. In fact, in there it’s full of good things: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs… There are many shelves! And many people all over!
And there it is Lily’s father, pushing a huge empty shopping cart. “Are you ready to do the shopping?” he says. “Yes!!!”
“The supermarket is an incredible place,” Baby Dragon says. Then, he dashes off like lighting and looks all over. He skips between the shelves, surrounded by many colors and different foods. He swishes between two carts!
Lily follows him smiling. Her friend is a great joker!
“Now wait” the little girl says to him. But the little dragon disappears behind a box. Then, among potatoes and onions… oh no, now he pops out next to the bottles of water, and now he gets down looking in another direction…
Lily accelerates to block his way. Baby Dragon tries to outrun her, but she takes another step and blocks him.
“We do the shopping all together, don’t you know it?”
Lily says to him patiently. “Where is dad?”
“Hem…”
The little dragon looks around but he can’t see Lily’s dad.
So, the little girl takes him next to the fruits. Here he is!
He’s holding the cart with one hand, and the shopping list with the other one… “You see? We have left dad behind.
It’s important that we wait —it’s a special gesture,” Lily explains to him. Baby Dragon nods.
Later, something attracts the little dragon: Cereals!
There’s a shelf full of them!
Baby Dragon smiles: He loves cereals for breakfast!
VROOOM!
He swishes away and gets to the shelf. How many different kinds! How can he choose? They’re all so good…
Wait a second. Baby Dragon moves close to some cereal packs.
“These are my favorite!” he says, reaching out for them.
“Wait,” Lily shouts.
The little girls runs towards him.
“Can you see this lady next to you?”
In that moment, Baby Dragon notices a lady with a red sweater. She’s pushing a cart, reaching out for his favorite cereals…
Oh no!
“This lady was here before you,” Lily says. Then, she apologizes with the lady and looks at him.
“It’s important that we wait for our turn, got it?”
Baby Dragon stops. “Y-Yes,” he mumbles. The lady takes a cereal pack and goes away.
“You see?
Just wait.”
