How to Update a Sage 50 Serial Number Below are the instructions on the way to swap out the serial number to update the Sage 50 software or to vary licensing options:
attend the server or the most computer hosting the info . Open Sage 50. Select Help, then select Sage 50 Activation, Licensing, and Subscription Options. Select Change your current version then click OK. Enter your new Serial Number and click on OK. Sage will automatically close and reopen. If it doesn't , close Sage 50 manually and reopen it. Select Help, then select About Sage 50 Accounting. Verify the new serial number is displayed.
Note: When Sage 50 is opened on the workstations, it'll automatically activate the new serial number as long because the data path on the workstation is pointed to the right server data path. If the workstation doesn't automatically devour the new serial number, it's presumably because it's an area data path.
