MENTORSHIP We believe mentorship can be accomplished in the absence of a formal program. Because mentorship in inherently personal, it is best accomplished relationally. Through 1,000+ mentorship sessions each year, Mission Force acts to mentor individually those who serve or have served. Those mentored then become mentors and through the multiplication process thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are reached.
WE HELP VETERANS...
• Convert military training, skills, and talents for matching civilian jobs • Create résumés • Conduct job interviews • Use the internet and web search engines • Find meaningful, satisfying, and rewarding work
REINTEGRATION Mission Force has found that discharged and retired veterans need help converting their skill sets for civilian jobs. Even though many veterans believe their training isn’t useful in a civilian setting, their team experience typically qualifies them as excellent managers and leaders. In many cases, certain military skills transfer easily and directly into the civilian workforce. Through classroom training and hands-on practice, the Warrior Reintegration Program provides the tools needed to make the transition from combat warrior to civilian employee as smooth as possible.
CRISIS SUPPORT Traumatic events by their nature catch a victim unprepared to deal with the situation. Many programs offer intervention and support to victims, but in the moment of crisis a knowledgeable first responder can provide the best support. Our assessment and intervention training can help keep pressures from turning into traumatic events.
