ABOUT THE LEADERS JJ Alderman is the leader the 6 Degree Initiative. God has been using JJ and his wife, Melissa, to reach the unreachable in West Africa since 2009, but their story began years before. JJ’s first travelled to Togo in 1989. He lived there from the age of six until he began college. When he was seventeen years old, he felt that his home was not in America. The call was clear; he needed to go back to Togo. In 2004, JJ married the love of his life, Melissa. She also felt the call to the mission field, and together they moved their family to Togo five years later. Now in the birthplace of voodoo, the 6 Degree Initiative strives to shine the light of the Gospel in one of the darkest of places in the world.
