Hey SWO Nation, We don’t want anyone to ever be confused about why we exist.

We created this booklet to help you understand our mission, what we do, and where we are going. We exist to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the exposition of Scripture and personal relationships in order to equip the Church to impact this generation. We believe it’s vital to our mission to steward our resources wisely and continue to create disciples.

The command to “go and make disciples” encompasses the local church, our communities, and the ends of the earth. I have never met leadership that lives more sacrificially for this than the guys at SWO. We developed a new system called “Fire Teams” to keep staff engaged and further our goal of raising up disciples of the next generation. We are crazy about these students, leaders, and staff because Jesus was crazy about us.

Over the years, Snowbird has grown to a 532-person housing capacity, serving nearly 11,000 annually. Snowbird operates with a 50-member year-round staff with an additional 120 college-age adults to serve as small group leaders and recreational staff during the summer.

Every year, students and leaders come from XX states and drive XX miles to a backroad in Andrews, NC. What happens on this property changes them forever.

In the last decade, XX people have given their lives to Christ. Our hope is that XX missionaries are going to be sent out.

The gospel changes everything, and we are glad to be a part of the story.

Our vision is not just about property, it’s about people.

It is about creating disciples and making an impact that echos for generations. Our goal is to have an annual attendance of 20k by 2027 to see this come to fruition.

Our calling is to steward our gifts from God obediently.

Our obsession is to take everything we have and reach everyone we can reach.
