A LETTER FROM BRODY We don’t want anyone to ever be confused about why we exist. We exist to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the exposition of Scripture and personal relationships in order to equip the Church to impact this generation.

Our team put together this booklet so you understand why we do what we do.

We are crazy about these students, leaders, and staff because Jesus was crazy about us.

Every year, students and leaders come from XX states and drive XX miles to a backroad in Andrews, NC. What happens on this property changes them forever.

In the last decade, XX people have given their lives to Christ. Our hope is that XX missionaries are going to be sent out.

The gospel changes everything, and we are glad to be a part of the story.

TIMELINE Mid 90’s Steve “Kahuna” Coleman cast the vision for an outdoor

wilderness camp. 100 acres of family land near the base of the Snowbird Mountains in Andrews, N.C., was purchased and preparations for what would become Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters began.

1998 First year of operation. With a 50 person capacity in three housing facilities, 200 students visited the campus.

1999 First seven weeks of summer camp with more than 600

students and six weekend retreats with a staff of six. Brody invited one youth minister friend who brought four students. They stayed in tents and ate over the fire.

2010 15 full-time staff with 10k people coming on staff 2015 ???

2020 North Campus Purchased

Over the years, Snowbird has grown to a 532-person housing capacity, serving nearly 11,000 annually. Snowbird operates with a 50-member year-round staff with an additional 120 college-age adults to serve as small group leaders and recreational staff during the summer.
