CHURCH ON THE DIRT

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

I started going to Church on the Dirt when I was playing travel ball in highschool. I remember one specific tournament service that continues to impact me to this day...
The challenge at the end of the COTD service was to be bold with our faith and do something small like ask the other team to pray.
At the time, this seemed like the scariest thing ever.
But a teammate and I took this as an opportunity to live beyond ourselves and live out our faith on the field. So after the Championship game that night, we asked the other team to pray. This showed me that we don’t have to be afraid of sharing Jesus’ love.
Maddie Riley is a current student athlete at Biola University and has been serving alongside us by visiting with a local travel ball team and sharing our weekend devotionals, praying with them, and sharing her own testimony She first encountered Church on the Dirt in High School.
