ANNNUAL ACTIVITY REPORT
A PARTNERSHIP OF CARE
HONESTY THAT HEALS A MARRIAGE A Christian employee at Coca-Cola Consolidated shared that he and his wife, of many years, have recently become less engaging. Our chaplain shared some materials about rules of communication and the 5 Love Languages. The next week the employee said that the materials prompted him to be honest with his wife about his unfaithfulness to her over 21 years ago. Though it was hard for her to hear, he hoped his choice to be honest about the affair would result in her being able to forgive him, and that someday her trust could be restored in him. He was appreciative of having his face held to the mirror and his feet to the fire to take action, trust God, be truthful, and be honest with his wife about his past sin. For weeks this employee’s wife remained unforgiving. The chaplain and the employee continued to pray together each week for her heart to soften. The chaplain is happy to report that recently this employee’s wife chose to forgive him. The employee reports that their marriage has grown stronger and things are going well.

RECONCILED WITH CHRIST Recently our chaplain was doing their rounds at Red Classic and they heard someone call their name. As the chaplain turned to see who it was, an employee asked if they could talk for a minute. The two found an empty office and the employee explained to the chaplain, with much emotion, that she felt her marriage was in trouble. After a lengthy conversation, the chaplain asked her if they could ask a spiritual question. She consented and the chaplain asked if she knew for sure that she was going to heaven. She answered that she did not. This led the chaplain to sharing the gospel with her. The chaplain asked
her
if
that
made sense to her. She said it definitely did. She then, through tears, prayed to receive Christ. With that firm foundation, the chaplain and the empoyee have been
SHE THEN, THROUGH TEARS, PRAYED TO RECEIVE CHRIST
able to work on her struggling marriage.

PRAYER THAT WORKS An employee shared with one of our chaplains that he is a practicing Buddhist. After a short conversation about his relationship with his girlfriend he asked the chaplain if he could pray for him. The chaplain advised the employee that when he pray it is to Jesus. The employee said he didn’t mind. So, the two stepped outside of the area we were in to pray. Now, every time the chaplain sees the employee, he asks the chaplain to pray for him. God is doing something with him and we look forward to seeing the fruit!
IMPACTING REMOTE EMPLOYEES Serving remote employees at Coke is difficult because our chaplains don’t get to see them as regularly as other employees. Whenever our chaplain sees one working in the market, they make it a point to stop and talk with them. Our chaplains have had the opportunity to lead two Coke employees to Christ while they were working out in the field.
