“LOU FAITHFULLY MET WITH BETH TO LISTEN, ANSWER QUESTIONS, AND PRAY. LOU RECEIVED BETH’S PERMISSION TO SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH HER, AND EVENTUALLY BETH GAVE HER LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!”
Chaplain Lou Ramos serves Syscon, Inc in the Chicago area and had multiple care sessions with an employee named Beth. Beth would occasionally ask Lou about various world religions, as she considered which “religion” was best for her. Lou’s care sessions with Beth lasted over a year and included time praying for Beth’s grandfather who was sick and eventually passed away. Lou faithfully met with Beth to listen, answer questions, and pray. Lou received Beth’s permission to share the Gospel with her, and Beth eventually gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ! With Lou’s encouragement, she joined a local church and Bible study. She now regularly talks with Lou about the Bible and her walk with Jesus and is living out her newfound faith at her workplace. Catherine Wendt, President of Syscon, Inc. is very thankful to have Lou serving her employees, and she celebrates life-changing decisions like Beth’s.
