Every day in Haiti, children experience the poverty-driven cycles of neglect, abandonment, trafficking, and slavery. This is because families lack access to social services, job stability, medical care, and quality education. Hands and Feet Project is a group of passionate child and family advocates working to break these cycles. We fight to keep families together through support services, job creation, providing family-style homes and caregivers for children in crisis, and restoring survivors of human trafficking.
Our Christ-centered purpose is to provide familystyle, residential care and sustainable solutions that fight against Haiti’s orphan crisis.
Since 2004, our organization has provided homes for 123 children, prevented 130 children from experiencing separation from their families, and employed 370 individuals in the community.

OUR PROJECTS Caring for the orphan and abandoned. Fighting to keep families together.
PRESERVING FAMILIES We are Preserving Families by advocating and fighting to keep families together. The purpose of Preserving Families is to keep children in their families of origin by providing support and guidance for biological families who are committed to caring for their children, but are at-risk of abandonment or trafficking due to financial and societal challenges. We believe the best option for the long-term care of any child is within a thriving, healthy family.
PROVIDING FAMILIES We are Providing Families through our staff and caregivers for children who have lost or have limited connection to their biological family. The purpose of Providing Families is to ensure that each child who is under the guardianship of Hands and Feet Project receives high quality care, from the time that they are placed on our campus to the time that they transition into independence and community interdependence.
EXPERIENCING MISSIONS We are Experiencing Missions by changing the traditional approach to missions and hosting outside job creation initiatives. Through this, we can share a new vision for Haiti. The purpose of Experiencing Missions is to provide individuals the opportunity to experience all of the beauty that Haiti has to offer through serving.
RESTORING SURVIVORS We are Restoring Survivors by partnering with anti-trafficking organizations and local authorities on rescue operations, while also providing respite care solutions to those that need placed in an Aftercare Program. The purpose of Restoring Survivors is to establish a safe and stable environment for survivors through rescue, restoration, and community reintegration.

There are several ways to be a part of what God is doing in Haiti:
PRAY HAITI: Pray for government leaders, stability, and economic growth. Pray for a better life for the people of Haiti, that the brokenness, division of wealth, and the strongholds of poverty subside.
HANDS & FEET PROJECT: Pray for the leadership, wisdom, and discernment in the decisions made. Pray for the next steps as an organization and the approach to love and serve the communities and staff as they are the hands and feet of Jesus in this work. Pray for provisions and protection for the ministry.
CHILDREN & FAMILIES: Pray that their specific needs are seen and known so they can grow to reach their full potential. Pray that their relationships with God and with each other are strengthened. Pray for their connectedness to their community, families, and for the reintegration and reconnection of broken families.

When you make a donation, you can direct it to our General Fund, which is dedicated to our greatest need, our Preserving Families Fund or our Providing Families Fund. When you give, you’re supporting our mission to provide family-style residential care and sustainable solutions that fight the Haiti orphan crisis.
SPONSOR A CHILD: Each of the children in our care have a limited number of sponsors. Each sponsor commits to a monthly $35 donation that covers the total cost of a child’s care at Hands and Feet Project. When you sponsor a child, you receive updates, pictures, and messages via email or by logging into your sponsor profile. Child Sponsorship funding is dedicated to our Child Care Programs.
SERVE: Whatever your talent or skill is, guess what? God’s behind it! God wants you to honor Him with those gifts! He wants you to be “good and faithful servants” with your talents. GO Hands and Feet Project offers volunteer and intern positions at our various locations throughout Haiti. Volunteers and interns get the chance to learn mission work firsthand by working alongside each site’s directors. At our Jacmel Children’s Village, there are opportunities for interns to help out in the office, to assist in media/marketing projects, and to play a huge role in planning summer activities for our kids. Interns usually spend three months in Haiti.
