I visited Westfield Primary Community School in March 2026. In collaboration with Mr Griffiths I based a series of pacy Pop Up art activities with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 focusing on the list of ‘50 Things to do Before You Leave Year 6 ’ The art style of choice was the perennially popular Manga Illustrations and the children responded wittily and energetically to the list of activities that range from cooking marshmallows to performing on stage Westfield Primary Community School is a wonderful and vibrant school serving the Acomb area in the West of York. The fundamental belief is that children come first, and the school obviously takes its role as leading a community that works in partnership seriously.
The talented and dedicated staff team works creatively, with dedication and kindness, to deliver a meaningful curriculum. They are ambitious for the children, striving to develop a positive mindset so all children believe that anything is possible By nurturing all students, they inspire a love of learning and ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes
