2026 is proving to be a very good year for those of us who love Literature. ‘Hamnet’ has blazed a trail. ‘Wuthering Heights’ smashes through windows this month. ‘The Odyssey’ begins this summer. And Acomb, York, has books at the top of the list! Its residents are reading, Acomb Explore has never looked so good, ‘Books & Bevs’ is over the road. It has been a pleasure to work with a great team of teenage advocates in this area of York that is so often unfairly stereotyped. With a book in the hand, anything is possible!
