Art Camp is fundamentally a celebration of youthful creativity, where parents and carers witness their children transform concepts into finished artwork daily.
This year's program was inspired by our collaboration with Viborg, a fellow UNESCO City of Media Arts. Their international challenge, 'Who is YOUR Angel of Hope?', prompted our young artists to explore themes of optimism, aspiration, and cooperation.
The artwork has been exhibited locally
at Blueberry Academy, Clifton, Holgate,
Westfield, and SPARK:YORK. Building
on our experience of exhibiting Art
Camp art in Cali, Tbilisi, and Viborg, we
now hope to showcase the "Draw with
Denmark" art here in York and
potentially on an international scale.
This demonstrates the significant, farreaching impact of the City of York
Council's HAF program, and we
commend our colleagues' hard work.
