Sweetwater Creek State Park

If you crave space to explore, these 2500+ acres offer 15 miles of hiking trails, two fishing docks, plenty of bird species to spot and outdoor fitness and playground equipment. Sweetwater Creek is one of ten state parks in Georgia to offer allterrain wheelchairs for ultimate accessibility. You can reserve picnic pavilions, tent camping sites and even cozy yurts for your next outdoor adventure.


Silver Comet Trail

About 15 miles up the road, visitors can access the 60+ mile long trail beloved by hikers, bikers, dog walkers and more. The Silver Comet Trail connects our neighboring counties and offers a beautiful day of exploring.

Carrollton Greenbelt

If you’re up for a bit longer drive, check out the beautiful trails and greenspace of the Carrollton Greenbelt, where you can hike, bike and rollerblade more than 18 miles of paved pathways.

Established in 1967, this full-service repair shop is known for impeccable attention to detail and is packed with vintage clocks available to browse and purchase. While you peruse, be sure to admire the world’s largest working cuckoo clock!
