I felt immediately welcomed as I entered the Upper Shrine, surrounded by beautifully restored stained-glass, statues, and tile. Our tour guide made me feel part of the devoted, prayerful community that has graced the pews for generations. The Lower Shrine offered a peaceful, intimate setting to reflect on Saint Rita’s life, and the availability of Confession and daily Mass completed a perfect day of inspired prayer. I look forward to returning to this lovely Shrine in South Philadelphia!”
