Jefferson Health’s Wound Healing Center at 1300 Wolf Street offers a highly specialized service that provides a bridge between hospital, home care, nursing facilities, and physicians for patients with acute or chronic wounds, fecal and urinary diversions, and fistulas. Our outpatient facility welcomes patients following hospitalization, from nursing facilities, or referred by their physicians or home care nurses. Patients undergo thorough evaluation and receive comprehensive management plans formulated by our team of certified wound and ostomy nurses, and board-certified physicians and registered nurses trained in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Services offered include diagnostic studies, education, and counseling from a holistic, patient-centered perspective designed to foster healing, ease suffering, and promote wellness. The Wound Healing Center is committed to improving lives in an organizational culture founded on mutual respect, safety, and learning.
