“During my career at Acadia, which involved constructing and maintaining the campus infrastructure, I was always struck by the foresight of those who came before. Acadia is fortunate to have retained many of the early buildings which have been preserved through often challenging times in her history.

The building names reflect a select few that represent the many who through their efforts promoted Acadia. If we want to continue to provide the Acadia legacy of the sense of place that is so familiar to generations of Acadia families we must invest in maintaining, preserving and updating the infrastructure.”
