Academy Dog Training by Haywood is excited to introduce our version of a daily drop off program! This program is meant to provide dogs physical and mental stimulation while their owners are hard at work. This program puts emphasis on the dog and handler relationship as opposed to doggy recess model that dominates this space. Here we are working to build coordination, expanding the physical ability and communication lines.

The Structure This program is quality focused, throughout the day three workout sessions are conducted in addition to daily walks. The content of these sessions are varied, based on what your goals are for your dog. For instance, if you want us to focus on helping to shed some pandemic pounds from your pooch then our workouts would be more running, agility, and hiking based. If your goals are to improve some lost impulse control in your pooch, then we would gear more of our workouts towards strengthening commands like down stay.

The Curriculum Now what dogs can do the Canine Conditioning Program? The only stipulation is the dogs have had to previously trained with us at some point. That being said we encourage dogs in every stage of life to join! The program is tailored to each dog whether old/young or big/small! Dogs that have high energy begging to be used or low energy dogs needing to be encouraged are both great for th program!

Price Breakdown This program is built for long term improvements to the dogs' well-being. To achieve best results from the workout sessions we are offering 15, 10, & 5 day packages.

The great thing about these packages is the days can be used whenever. There will be limited spots each day to ensure proper trainer dog ratio. We recommend that owners use 2-3 days a week to give the dogs rest days in between. Again, this is more gym than recess!

We are now open for booking, our first available day is 6/20/2022! Each day we carry 5 roster spots for this special program which are first come, first reserve. Please submit a conditioning course evaluation form. Be prepared! Once an evaluation form is submitted a member of our team will call you to schedule a 15-minute phone evaluation. Phone evaluation - A member of our team will answer any questions you may have regarding your dog's potential future in this program and reserve your dog's courses.
