This Section of Compendium organizes the known crewmembers for each yacht, organized by last name, and further by year, yacht name and their crew position. The Crews section lists the sailors by last name, proper first name, middle name or initial (if known), and any title, enabling a researcher to easily see the progression of the individual from regatta to regatta.
In addition to "The Owners" Compendium includes Sections on "The Crews," "The Officials," and "The Builders." Editor's Note: Every effort was taken to assure accuracy in the listing of America's Cup crewmembers. Because the underlying data is from historical records, from time-to-time errors were found - often when there are several generations of sailors with similar names (i.e. Jr., II, III, Sr., etc.) and the occasional spelling of a name.
