We have routes dedicated to each award level Bronze, Silver and Gold. This ensures that when students progress through the levels, they have not done the same route before. Bronze routes allow the students to practice their new found navigation skills Silver routes allow the students to build on the skills they learnt at Bronze level and begins to prepare them for Gold Level. Gold routes allow the students to show how they have mastered their navigation skills.

We have options on all routes to make it an expedition, where 60% of the time must be spent Journeying, or an exploration, which allows the students to spend 60% of their time exploring. All this means that we can cater to all fitness levels and that students have the choice between the two different types of Adventurous Journey.

What we provide; Minimum of one off road support vehicle with a suitably experienced driver. Approximately 1 staff member per 3 teams to assist the teachers with Supervision of the students. Assessor(s) during the qualifying journey. Assessor reports completed once the requests have been submitted, provided that the 15 requirements have been met. Maps - Electronic copies only. Workbook for the students to complete, in order to assist with their preparation prior to their practice AJ. A 3 Hour session in-school to fill any gaps in knowledge,the subject of this can be agreed prior to the session. Drinking Water refills during each AJ.
