Who are we?

Absolute Adventure is an award winning company based in Dubai, with adventure camps in United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Where are we?

We have four main outdoor centres in areas of outstanding natural beauty and also operate satellite camps around the region. Our longest established centres are in Dibba, Oman, situated near the beach and surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Musandam peninsula.

Our other centres are in Ras Al Khaimah and Kalba, where we have a mountain camp and water sports centre, set within a protected reserve.

What do we do?

Who are we seeking?

Much of our work is residential based with international school groups, corporate clients, family groups and individuals. We also run Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions for the D of E International Award Scheme.

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional and highly motivated individuals to join our rapidly expanding and dynamic team. You will need to have a strong work ethic, be culturally adaptable with a passion to deliver high quality outdoor learning programmes.

We have contracts to provide activities to guests of 5-star hotels and we have an exclusive agreement to operate adventures within the UAE’s first national mountain park, home to the UAE’s only perennial waterfall and canyoneering experience.

When do I start?

Some staff are needed on a permanent basis from the beginning of September.

Seasonal staff work from October to April.

We also employ additional staff during February and March. If you feel you have the skills and qualities we are looking for , then we welcome your application.

What’s the package?

The successful candidates will be provided with the following benefits: ■ AED 4500-7500 tax free per month ■ Fight allowance, reimbursed in the second half of our season ■ 4-star hotel apartment or furnished villa (depending on which camp you’re based at)

■ Paid utility bills ■ All meals while on programme plus AED 250 food allowance per month ■ 8 days off per month ■ In-house training ■ Employment visa ■ Uniform

Staff accommodation varies according to location....

All our equipment is wellmaintained with regular inspections and certiďŹ cation.

What qualifications and experience do I need?

■ 22+ years old

■ Current wilderness first aid certification

(valid until contract end) ■ DBS certificate (or similar) ■ Recognised certificates or equivalent experience in the following fields: Land based: MOUNTAIN LEADERSHIP MOUNTAIN BIKING ORIENTEERING BUSH CRAFT SURVIVAL SKILLS

HIGH ROPES ARCHERY FENCING ROCK CLIMBING ABSEILING

Water based: KAYAKING

COASTEERING

SEA KAYAKING

CANYONEERING

STAND UP PADDLE

SNORKELING

BOARDING

■ Clean driving licence ■ 2+ years’ experience instructing ■ High level of fitness ■ Passionate about the outdoors and the

value of outdoor learning ■ Mature, professional attitude to the industry ■ Lifeguarding qualification and D of E International Award assessor will be an advantage
