TESTIMONIAL In the last year, Shane Mieglich, Paringa View Park Pty Ltd, at Charleston in the Adelaide Hills, has focused on using all polled bulls in his dairy breeding program.

“Using all polled bulls has been a relatively easy decision for me, due to a greater industry emphasis on animal welfare and compliance with dehorning practices under our milk factory’s calf management standards,” Shane said. “Having polled calves saves us another job and also represents a cost saving for the farm,”.
