ANGELA MARIE JOHNSON: Leading Women to Healing and Redemption
Angela Marie Johnson walked through trauma and emerged with a calling far greater than herself. As the visionary behind the bestselling book, He Sees You: The Naked Truth: Redeemed, she is on a mission to help women break free from the weight of shame, confront their deepest wounds, and step boldly into the purpose God has ordained for them. Through transformative conferences, mentorship programs, and commitment to truth, Angela is leading a movement of healing, restoration, and redemption.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication, Angela has built a thriving career as a Territory Manager in pharmaceutical sales. But her passion extends far beyond the corporate world. As a certified Life Coach with over a decade of experience in business development, specializing in mental health and addiction, Angela has dedicated her life to guiding others toward wholeness. Her leadership is marked by authenticity, com passion, and an unshakable commitment to empowering those she serves, even in the most challenging circumstances.
In an exclusive interview with Magazine, Angela shares her journey— from childhood rejection and trauma to divine healing. Her journey reminds us that no past is too broken for God to redeem, and no wound is beyond His power to heal.
The Seeds of Rejection
Angela’s journey began in Sacramento, California, as the youngest of four children. At just a year old, her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where her parents devoted themselves to ministry.
“My father’s brother has a church in Atlanta, so we packed up and drove across the country to do ministry together,” she recalled. “It was a miserable trip for me as a toddler—I just remember kicking and screaming the whole way.”
Growing up in a large family surrounded by talented cousins, Angela often felt like she didn’t quite fit in. “I was just this chocolate girl with an underbite, feeling like I wasn’t pretty enough, not talented enough. I tried to sing, but my voice wasn’t good enough to get a lead role. The enemy sowed seeds of rejection in me at a very young age.”
