Kimberly is the Founder and CEO of Plush Recovery located in Little Elm, Texas. Plush Recovery provides nursing care for patients recovering from a surgical procedure in the comfort of their home or a preferred hotel. This one-of-a-kind concierge nursing service has changed the landscape of patient care.
ON A MISSION
Kimberly has an extensive background serving as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse and as a Hospice Nurse Administrator. After undergoing a surgery, Kimberly realized that there are immense gaps in pre- and post-operative care. She experienced complications from her surgery and was given minimal guidance and support. Kimberly began to provide her own nursing care. This included changing her own wound care dressings, monitoring for infections, and researching ways to optimize her healing process. Her personal journey with less than adequate nursing care inspired her to find a solution for post operative care. Plush Recovery was born.
