Born and raised in North Carolina, USA, young Felicia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the tender age of 12 and grew up in the church. Throughout her teenage years, she experienced tumultuous seasons which almost took her life. By God’s grace and power, she overcame her struggles and lives to inspire others, emboldened by her faith. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Speech Communication. Blessed with a beautiful love story, she has been married to Kelvin Lucas for 28 years. Their union produced three children and as a family, they all serve in ministry together. Kelvin and Felicia are the co-founders of a non-profit organization which focuses on youth and young adult empowerment.

Impact In the World of Publishing

Felicia’s empowering journey prompted her to pen her first book in 2016, entitled Make It Happen - Moving Towards Your Best U. Her insightful message inspires readers to set spiritual, physical and professional goals they can achieve, setting them on the trajectory to a bright, new vision of their lives. During one of her book promotion engagements, one of her audience members asked her for help with writing her book. Surprised by this audacious request to help bring this woman’s vision to life, Felicia presented her with a proposal, and she became her first client. Her “yes” opened the door for so many others to write and publish their books of inspiration, empowerment and encouragement.

His Glory Creations Publishing has been in operation for over seven years and is now an international company, publishing inspirational, empowering and educational books to include non-fiction, fiction, poetry, memoirs and their specialty, children’s books.
