In a recent interview with VBD Magazine, Elizabeth discusses her writing journey, offering valuable insights into the inspiration that fueled its creation. Moreover, Elizabeth hinted at what the future holds, teasing potential projects and exciting developments on the horizon. Through her words, she invites readers to join her on a journey of exploration and imagination, promising more fascinating stories.

Inspiration To Write

For Elizabeth, writing has been a lifelong passion nurtured by familial encouragement and a deep-seated love for storytelling. “Writing has always been part of my life,” she affirms. “I grew up writing. My mother always wanted to write fiction, but she ended up writing non-fiction. She was a letter-writing queen. And she encouraged my sister and me to write. She’d give us blank journals to fill and then sit and listen as we told her our stories. I enjoyed writing and I still enjoy it for the sake of writing.

“When my eldest son was born, I started to formulate the idea of publishing a book. I finished my first book and spent two-ish years looking for an agent with my hopes pinned on traditional publishing. But gradually during that time, I became more open to the idea of independently publishing.”
