Planning your wedding is an exciting and meaningful season. For many couples, it’s the first time planning an event with so many details—and we’re honored you’re considering the Above the Rest team to make it feel effortless.
Creating a romantic, beautiful atmosphere is our expertise, and our heart is to bring moments of relaxation, joy, and smiles to your wedding day.

Consultation Policy
It is our policy to meet with clients in person to learn about your vision for your wedding. One of our wedding consultants will meet with you. We offer a one-time complimentary initial consultation for intown venues. A minimum travel fee of $95 is required in advance for all out of town consultations.
Prior to an in-person consultation, a $250 non-refundable consultation fee is due. This applies toward your order. After your consultation, we will follow up with you to finalize your decor.
If you prefer, we are happy to do email & phone consultations especially if we are familiar with the venue you have chosen.

Sophisticated Ceremonies
Many couples choose to have their ceremony at The Lighthouse Knoxville. Some in the Main Event Room some in the quaintness of the Pond Room, and still others in the School House room.
No matter where you choose to have your ceremony, we can soften and enhance the room with draping.

Romantic Walls

Cake Wall Draping
Typically, the small alcove in the Main Event Room is where the cake table is placed. Walls here are 7' x 14' Start at $225
Wall draping is a perfect way to enhance the beauty of your cake or desserts.

The beauty of the wall of windows at The Lighthouse is enhanced with the addition of window draping.
Windows vary in height with the tallest in the middle. Draping on windows is normally pulled back to frame the pond view. The draping also serves to improve the acoustics of the room. Pricing varies and is priced by number of windows and style of draping.

How do we know what to order for our event?
That's EASY! Just complete the Event Inquiry form on our website or call. We will ask you several questions about your event, the venue, your event's goal, vision, and budget. Next, at consultation, we listen carefully and then provide our expert advice and direction to best serve you.
What is the Delivery/Set up Service Fee?
Delivery & Set up service of all fabric draping at your venue. Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of delivery, and the amount of decor being installed. Delivery begins at $125 Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee
What is the Breakdown/Strike Service Fee?
We carefully remove all decor we installed, including moving heavy base plates, poles, and fold all fabrics. AAAH, relaxing for you! Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of breakdown, and the amount of decor being removed. Breakdown begins at $125. Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee We are closed on Sunday and in rare occasions provide Premium Sunday Service.
Sorry, not for fabric draping, we provide breakdown service to insure that all fabrics are clean, undamaged, and put away properly Draping typically involves a lot of ladder work and heavy lifting. We do all this for you because you want to relax after your event, not fold yards and yards of fabric. Right? Yes, for balloon decor.
What is the payment policy for fabric draping? Is there a damage deposit?
$250 non-refundable Design Fee is due at end of first consultation if you want us to proceed with designing for your event. Design Pricing is good for 7 days after your receipt. 50% down payment of ordered decor is due within 7 days after order is finalized. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event Quarterly payment plans are available for additional fee 3 5% card processing service added for all card use (card use optional)
Yes. For all outside draping service, a minimum of a $350 damage deposit is taken up front. Check or card number is held until after event. If no damage occurs, these are shredded.
