The Coronation

Several ABO members will be participating in the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen Consort in May 2023 including Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. To commemorate the Coronation, The Sixteen have also released a new album presenting 500 years of royal music.

Support for Ukraine

Bath Philharmonia performed a concert at Bath Abbey for the Ukraine appeal, showing unity and friendship for the people of Ukraine alongside three other local choirs.

English National Opera will perform in a two-week cultural festival in the lead up to Eurovision. The festival will present 24 brand new commissions – 19 of which are collaborations between UK and Ukrainian artists.

To mark one year since the war began, Royal Ballet Sinfonia recorded Lysenko's Elegie Op.39 in aid of the DEC's appeal.
