In 2027, The World will carry its Residents on a yearlong journey unlike any other — one defined by rare access, exceptional comfort, and a deep connection to the places we visit. With three extraordinary expeditions and more than 100 destinations across 4 continents, every moment is curated to deliver the finest in travel, culture, and discovery.
The year begins in Singapore with a 10-day expedition through Indonesia’s remote islands — from the quiet beauty of the Anambas Regency to the limestone shores of Bangka and Belitung. Guided by the seasonal winds of the northwest, we explore Ujung Kulon National Park, sanctuary of the rare Javan rhinoceros, and the vast Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation Reserve, home to the elusive Sumatran tiger. A call at Krakatoa offers a striking finale before arrival in Jakarta.
In February, we visit Tuticorin in India’s Tamil Nadu — a vibrant port city blending rich maritime history, cultural landmarks like the Basilica of Our Lady of Snows, and access to serene beaches and nearby natural wonders.
Summer follows the path of Viking explorers. Sailing from Iceland to Greenland’s untouched eastern coast, towering cliffs, drifting ice, and abundant wildlife recall the awe of the Norse a millennium ago. We continue south to Greenland’s western shores, where ancient settlements still mark the landscape, concluding in Nuuk.
A second Viking voyage crosses the Davis Strait to Canada’s wild eastern frontier — from the stark beauty of Baffin Island to Labrador’s rugged coasts, where polar bears and black bears share the ranges of Torngat Mountains National Park. Late summer warmth carries us to Newfoundland’s northern tip and L’Anse aux Meadows, the only confirmed Viking site in North America, before completing this historic transatlantic retracing.
As the year draws to a close, we call at West Palm Beach, Miami, New Orleans, Galveston, and the sunlit Caribbean, culminating in a celebration to welcome the new year. The 2027 Journey is shaped by contrast and discovery — an open invitation to seek the extraordinary, linger in the rare, and experience life aboard the most exceptional address the seas have ever known.
