Staffing, itinerary planning, logistics, dockage, and minimal customs and immigration delays are all managed smoothly, while personalized service remains uncompromised.

(ROW), which is owned indirectly by the Residents themselves through The World Resident Holdings, Ltd. (TWRH). Residents are the sole members (shareholders) of TWRH, the parent company of both the Ship Owner, The World of ResidenSea II, Ltd., and the Ship Manager, ROW Management, Ltd. This unique ownership structure ensures that every decision aligns fully with the Community’s priorities. A skilled, multinational Crew brings expertise, discretion, and passion to every aspect of Replicating The World’s experiences through luxury hotels and transportation, yacht club memberships, private guides, and fine dining would easily exceed $500,000 on a semi-annual basis. LIFE ABOARD, AN EXPERIENCE UNVEILED
Each Residence is equipped for modern living, with high-speed satellite internet from providers like Starlink. Purchasing a Residence begins with signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement, followed by full documentation for review. Once an offer is accepted, a 10% deposit is held in escrow until closing, at which point a transfer fee and all applicable closing costs are due. On average, resales are on the market six to nine months. Residences are acquired exclusively through cash transactions. Financing is not provided and Residency Rights may not serve as collateral.

Residences may be purchased individually or through trusts, partnerships, corporations, or LLCs, subject to legal approval. Each acquisition is governed by four primary documents: the Apartment Rights Purchase and Sale Agreement, the Residence Agreement assignment, the Residency Rights assignment, and the Shares of Stock assignment – all of which may be reviewed with your legal counsel. Residency aboard The World is intentionally selective. Prospective Residents are required to meet net worth and income criteria, provide references, pass background checks, and receive two letters of recommendation from current Residents. This process builds a Community of accomplished individuals who share not only a lifestyle but a foundation of financial stability and responsibility. To finalize ownership, a security deposit of 12.5% of the annual maintenance cost is held in an interest-bearing account. Closing costs include the initiation fee, annual ownership costs, and a transfer fee. Interest accrued on the security deposit is returned as a credit toward your quarterly maintenance account. Ownership brings the reassurance of financial strength. The Ship is owned free of debt, with structures designed to minimize Resident liability. Annual costs include insurance covering the Ship, each Residence, and emergency medical evacuation; additional coverage can be arranged through partner programs.
Residency aboard The World does not confer tax or visa advantages, nor does it serve as a permanent address. Each Resident chooses their own level of engagement – some spend just a few weeks or up to three or four months on board, while a select few live aboard year-round.
EXPERIENCE A LIFESTYLE WITHOUT COMPROMISE Ownership costs are structured to ensure The World operates at the highest level of safety, service, and comfort – while protecting the long-term value of your Residence. These costs are proposed annually, approved by the Board of Directors, and adjusted only to reflect the needs and standards of the Community. The Board of Directors comprises seven members elected by the Residents. Each member is entitled to one vote per share for the election of Directors or any other matter coming before the board members. What the costs cover: General Maintenance – Day-to-day operations, port fees for approximately 100
Family & Friends are always welcome, whether staying with you in your Residence or in a separate Guest accommodation. Guest policies are in place to ensure comfort and compliance with the Ship’s occupancy standards. While The World is primarily adult-focused, children are welcome aboard. The minimum age is 6 months old (1 year old during expeditions), and during holiday and summer periods, youth coordinators lead activities through the Quest kids and teens program.
