FLOOR PLANS AND SECTIONS
The Intention for this project was to bring back the deeper connection to the food we eat. I transformed the existing building into a space where people can come and learn about the crops that are grown in Nebraska and find a sense of belonging to the food that is grown and consumed in our state.
Bringing some of that food production back to the heart of downtown Lincoln will help consumers learn more about the food they are consuming, contributing to both physical wellbeing and emotional sense of self.

Adding a greenhouse to the space as well as kitchens where users can learn how to cook the food will be extremely beneficial. This will allow for people to have a choice: either to come to learn about how the food is grown as well as how to cook it, or to come and indulge in the historic building and purchase goods made from the greenhouse.
