The Second Wind Walk/Run Event

The Second Wind Fund Event is special because it shows that our community can come together to make change in the lives of others. I’ve always felt that there is a feeling of hope and freedom that emanates from the people engaging, whether they are running or walking. Growing up, I had a teammate complete suicide. I’m glad that Second Wind specializes in creating the feeling of hope, joy, thankfulness, and a love for life so that more youth give themselves a second chance or second wind. It is important that people like my friend and his family don’t need to suffer alone or miss a loved one because of suicide. I am proud to support Second Wind and their mission.
