THE COX & KINGS GUEST

The pull of the new and unexplored is the biggest motivation for Cox & Kings’ guests. They want to see the big sights, but also lesser-known places. There is a desire for authenticity, atmosphere and an escape from crowded tourist trails. Iconic attractions need to be witnessed, yet off-the-beaten-track sights provide the depth they desire. They also like curated, in-depth learning, with guide-led experiences; some prefer a lighter learning style while others are keener on something more academic – all like to gather a little knowledge along the way. Some of your prospective clients might look something like this:

“ Our first Cox & Kings experience was a brilliant introduction to India. The logistics were perfect and the tour manager was excellent. We started and finished at The Imperial hotel in Delhi, and the group was a good size: 15 people. Our tour manager changed our schedule in Jaipur to give us an exceptional experience of the Holi festival, right in the middle of the city. BESPOKE SMALL GROUP TOURS

Call Cox & Kings’ team on 020 8131 4674 to create a bespoke group tour for your clients. Minimum duration, spend and guest numbers apply.

HOW DO I GET STARTED? Contact your Sales Manager or Cox & Kings’ Team to discuss available journeys and dates. Start with a destination and date that works for a core group of travellers and build from there.

WHEN SHOULD I START MARKETING AND HOW CAN COX & KINGS ASSIST? The earlier you start, the better — typically 12-18 months out. Cox & Kings can create a co-branded digital flyer to market your group.

WHAT TOURS AND JOURNEYS ARE AVAILABLE FOR GROUPS?

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MARKET MY GROUP BEFORE I HAVE TO MAKE A DEPOSIT? When booking an existing Small Group Tour departure for your exclusive use, we will typically put a courtesy hold on group space for 14 days before a signed contract and deposit are required. This depends on your travel date and sales demand.

HOW ARE INDIVIDUAL GUEST BOOKINGS HANDLED? When your client is ready to book, contact your dedicated Group Travel Consultant to process the deposit. All bookings are subject to Cox & Kings’ terms and conditions.

Group space varies by journey and is based on availability. You can also add pre- and post-tour extensions.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COMPLIMENTARY SPACE?

WILL MY GROUP BE PRIVATE?

Includes internal air fares where applicable. International air, insurance and extra services are not included.

Small Group Tours of 14 or more paid guests will be private. If the allocation falls below the minimum, the departure will be opened for general sale.

OPPOSITE Inset: the Praetorian Fountain, Sicily, Italy; SCALA DEI TURCHI (STAIR OF THE TURKS), Sicily, Italy.
