What is KMR?
KMR is an all-inclusive kosher retreat, a luxurious, worry-free vacation. Guests enjoy an exclusive and elegant experience, with the KMR team ensuring that the hotel, the food, the hechsherim, the minyanim, Shabbos and every detail and nuance of the retreat live up to KMR’s uncompromising high standards. Many guests choose to relax and enjoy the resort’s on-site amenities during their stay, as well as three gourmet meals and full day open café. Those who prefer to venture beyond the resort and organize their own trips or tours can take advantage of boxed lunches as they explore the wonders of the Colorado Rockies.
What does the all-inclusive rate cover?
KMR’s rate includes the full retreat experience from the moment of arrival at the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa. Guests will enjoy magnificent accommodations, luxurious amenities and impeccable service at an exclusive mountain resort, along with incomparable gourmet cuisine prepared to the highest kashrus standards and KMR’s legendary programming and entertainment. With a standout program to delight kids of all ages, Camp KMR will delight younger guests, while their parents will be impressed by its warmth and professionalism.
Do I have to stay for the entire retreat or can I pick and choose my dates?
KMR does offer flexibility in program dates Guests are free to pick and choose the dates that best suit them, although there may be certain minimum stay requirements for weekend stays.
How do I get to the resort?
KMR recommends that guests fly into Denver International Airport, which is easily accessible from all major cities. Grand Hyatt is in Mountain Time Zone, two hours behind New York - those flying in from the East Coast will find themselves in Colorado just two hours after takeoff. Guests should expect to spend a full hour retrieving their luggage and renting a car, should they choose to do so.

Driving Up to the Hotel
The trip from the airport to the Grand Hyatt is exceptionally beautiful, and KMR recommends that it be made during the day to enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the two hour and fifteen minute trip. Because the road winds through the mountains to an elevation of 8,000 feet, guests are advised to drink extra fluids in order to acclimate to the altitude.
Should I rent a Car?
Shuttles, Uber and car services are all available in Grand Hyatt, but guests are advised to rent a car to make the most of the area’s many attractions.
Where in Grand Hyatt is KMR’s summer retreat taking place? What do I need to know about Grand Hyatt? How can I plan activities outside the resort?
Most of our events will be held in the Grand Hyatt’s conference center. Lodging accommodations will be at several different properties within the resort, such as the Grand Hyatt Lodge and Park Hyatt.
What kind of attractions are available nearby?
Located just west of Vail, Grand Hyatt is the ultimate resort town, with an abundance of activities suited to both children and adults. A high-end area that is simultaneously elegant and friendly, Grand Hyatt’s summer weather may well be the most perfect in the country, with pleasantly warm temperatures and extremely low humidity.
Our dedicated concierge is available to help plan excursions and trips for guests who choose to supplement their retreat experience by taking advantage of the Grand Hyatt area’s endless possibilities.
In addition to offering scenic rides on beautiful biking trails for riders of all levels, Grand Hyatt is an ideal location for hiking, gondola rides, horseback riding, speedboating, ATVing, hot springs and white-water rafting through the area’s stunning mountains and canyons.

Will you be offering a Camp for the kids?
While you’re napping or enjoying the refreshing Colorado climate, your children will be pleasantly occupied and well-supervised at one of our many carefully designed Camp KMR. Our professional day camp program, run our exceptionally warm counselors, provides a full day of stimulating games and activities. Going well beyond simple fun, we infuse our program with meaning, too, investing significant effort into curricula of stimulating Torah learning.
Will babysitting be available?
KMR’s staff of frum babysitters can be booked through the retreat coordinator. Babysitters are paid directly, by the hour.
What is KMR’s cancellation policy?
What kind of in-room amenities are offered at the hotel?
Guests’ non-refundable deposits serve as confirmation of their reservations. Because unforeseen circumstances can arise. KMRrecommends that guests purchase Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance to cover those possibilities.
All guestrooms have air conditioning, high-speed internet, personal safes, Nespresso coffee makers, telephones, in-room movies on 55 inch flat screen television, humidifiers, ultra-soft linens, down duvets and laundry and dry-cleaning services.
The Park Hyatt offers valet parking, electric vehicle charging, year-round heated outdoor pool, five outdoor hot tubs under a mountain waterfall, full service spa and fitness club.
