To help guests make the most of their stay, KMR is pleased to offer a dedicated local concierge for our Summer Retreat 2026.
Shternie Bell, who has spent the past decade exploring the Bay Area while building the Chabad of El Cerrito community, is available in advance of the program to help guests plan personalized outings and day trips throughout Northern California.
During the program, Shternie will also be available each morning to assist guests with daily plans, recommendations, and local guidance.

With the Claremont's pools designed perfectly for both adults and kids, the only instructions necessary are to find your ideal spot, dive in, and bliss out.

Rabbi Dovber Berkowitz, a Chabad rabbi in the San Francisco Bay Area, is co-founder of INVEI, a boutique kosher winery dedicated to producing small-lot, handcrafted wines that reflect both craftsmanship and character. INVEI’s Barbera and Petit Verdot were awarded 90+ scores by Wine Enthusiast, reflecting the winery’s commitment to exceptional quality and distinctive California wines.

Enjoy an intimate wine tasting with Covenant Founding Winemaker Jeff Morgan Jeff founded Covenant—one of the world’s premium kosher wineries—in 2003. he former West Coast Editor at Wine Spectator Magazine, Jeff has also written 10 books on wine and food. He made wine in Israel from 2013 to 2021 under his Covenant Israel label as well. In addition to sharintg his wines, Jeff will share stories about making wine in California, Israel and even New York (where he got his start).
