HOW TO GET THERE www.ferryhopper.com There is no direct connection from Tenerife to Gran Canaria. However, you can take a drive to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, take the ferry Agaete, Gran Canaria, then take the drive to Santa Lucia. The route from Gran Canaria to Tenerife is served several times per day, with more than 10 ferry crossings per day. The ferry duration ranges from around 1hr 20 min to 2 hrs. 2-HOUR CATAMARAN HIRE See the whales and dolphins in their natural environment in the clear waters between Tenerife and the neighbouring island of La Gomera. The trip starts from Puerto Colon and heads out to sea where you can search for the small local whales that are seen throughout the year. During the tour, the catamaran passes by a number of fish-farms where you will usually spot the dolphins hoping to find an easy meal. Free drinks – water, soft drinks and beer – are served throughout this excursion.
