“Shadow slitheres, filling water point to point, heavy as gold”

A cardboard collector who seeks for cardboard and use water as a source of his wealth. This concept of design is to enhance his experience of slithering and making an obstacle functional with certain architecture.

Concept Model Diagram Model

Water seems to be the important source. Puddles are design as to enhance the experience of the villager to wet the cardboard and also puddles are in a way to make villager slitheres to be on a nearby puddle after collecting cardboard from shophouses.

The villager dwelling is design with a lot of curves walls. It gives a certain intention in every curve wall. Which then relate, to him slithering seeking something. Outsider too can experience the curve ramp or just slithere around the puddle.

The roof height of the first and second level is odd and it is meant to give the villager and experience to prone and slithere to the toilet from the cardboard storage. It also give outsider an experience too.

Understanding the villager movement and intention of collection the cardboard and intention of the taking the water. Playing around the space the villager could experience. If certain needs are in a certain space. Design a concept of a small space where he can dwell and work with puddles along the way. Cardboard storage can be seen on the first level and small rooms such as toilet, rooms, are located on the second level.

Singapore Colonial Ethnic House

Develop an architecture structure with an ethnic façade of a Singapore Colonial Ethnic with enhanced interior. Implement the classic look such as the material use of brick and also a simple black and white painted wood of the colonial architecture in my design.
