Imad Lahad, former managing director of the Dubai office, is leading APCO’s global AI business solutions, Muhannad Al Badri is leading APCO’s public sector work in the UAE, while Mohamed Bahaa is leading private sector work in MENA and is an active member of the global public affairs leadership team In parallel, Yomna Kamel, PhD, joins the firm in the UAE to lead APCO’s government advisory center bringing more than two decades of experience advising UAE-based government entities on their communication strategies
Meanwhile, Andrew Bone has been appointed managing director of APCO’s Saudi Arabia office to lead growth in the Kingdom Hala Hayek, former director at APCO, will co-lead operations in the Kingdom alongside Bone in her new role as deputy managing director of the Riyadh office.
Christophe Guibeleguiet, former partner and global Business & Society lead at Brunswick Group, will head APCO’s Climate & Sustainability practice in MENA supporting clients with their ESG strategies and climate commitments in line with national and global agendas.
Frédéric Cornet, formerly managing partner and head of Capital Markets, MENA at Instinctif Partners, has been appointed to lead APCO’s new MENA capital markets arm created by the acquisition of financial communications firm Camarco.

This was my first experience at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, and I came away incredibly impressed with the forward-looking, substantive discussions on several pivotal topics. It was also a great opportunity to meet new friends in government, like the UAE’s Undersecretary of Investment; to catch up with long-standing partners, like U.S. Mission to the UAE Ambassador Martina Strong; and to strategize about the year ahead with leading companies, like PepsiCo Middle East and several others
On the sidelines of WGS, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted U.S. Consul General Dubai Robert Raines for a discussion about both the bilateral economic relationship and the role Dubai plays as a hub for businesses to engage across the Middle East, in Africa, and beyond. Al-Falasi is a seasoned banker with nearly two decades of experience at Citi. She joined the bank in 2004 and has worked across multiple regions, including Dublin, London, and Sao Paulo. In 2015, she was appointed Head of the Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) for the UAE and Iraq, and in 2018, her role expanded to include the GCC region. Since early 2023, Al-Falasi has been serving as interim Citi Country Officer (CCO) and interim CEO of Citibank, N.A. UAE Onshore Branch. She is the first Emirati woman to lead Citi’s UAE onshore business. AmCham Dubai is pleased to partner with the U.S. Mission to the U.A.E. to provide business members access to expedited business visa appointments via the Business Visa Appointment Program (BVAP).
Through BVAP, the employees of AmCham Dubai’s business member companies who have an evident and urgent need for business travel to the United States will have the ability to request for an expedited appointment.
Only Consular officers can determine visa eligibility, AmCham Dubai facilitates this service at the discretion of the US Consulate.
Participation in BVAP may require separate supporting documentation & members are in no way guaranteed an appointment or the successful issuance of a non-immigrant visa
AmCham Dubai strongly encourages applicants to apply for required visas well in advance of their intended date to allow for adequate processing time for applications.

STEP 6 Once we receive all your verification documents AmCham Dubai will issue an original letter that must be picked up from our office and accompany you to your VISA APPOINTMENT.
Your visa request may be cancelled if you do not have the original letter with you.
