Partnering With Education Leaders To Bring The Community Together

ABC strengthened its focus on education, partnering with leaders in the field to unite the community and better the communities we work and live in, in 2023.

1st Quarter

  • Hosted NAWIC WIC Week Panel w/SkyBuilders, CPPI, Terracon & Guinard Company.

  • Relaunched Contractors HR Peer Group

  • Brought the Osceola Skills Up Construction Pipeline Bi-Monthly Meetings to ABC Office.

  • American Heart Association “Heart Health for you and your family” Event.

2nd Quarter

  • Helped the Women's United Group Luncheon successfully raise over $20k through its fundraising event.

  • Launched the first annual Total Human Health Week, including Safety Training Academy.

  • Michele Daugherty inspired young women at Lyman HS's NAWIC Construction Career Camp.

  • Celebrated National Safety Month, providing a roadmap for incident-free work and safer job sites.

  • Hosted the annual National Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Summit

  • Title Sponsor of the 2023 iBuild Invitational and the Lyman High School OSHA team at the SkillsUSA Competition in Jacksonville, FL.

  • Hosted the Design & Build Industry Mixer, benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank with over 7,500 meals for the community.

3rd Quarter

  • Attended the Women United Kendra Scott Gives Back Event

  • Sponsored and attended ACT Golf Tournament.

  • Hosted annual Casino Night, raising over $40k for workforce development.

  • Promoted Safe + Sound Week to encourage comprehensive employee safety participation.

  • Sponsored & Attended ACFS (Alliance for Central Florida Safety) Safety Day.

  • Initiated the Seminole State Student Chapter

4th Quarter

  • Sponsored the ACT Inaugural Go-Kart Grand Prix.

  • Sponsored and attended ACCA Golf Tournament

  • Sponsored and attended American Heart Association Hard Hats with Heart

  • Assisted New Image Youth Center, Inc., enhancing the holidays for local children with a fresh coat of paint, supporting NIYC's commitment to keeping Orlando's youth safe and thriving.

  • Hosted a Toy Drive with Amphibious Medics, collecting 1,061 toys and raising over $29k to support local organizations: Legal Aid Society OCBA, Embrace Families, and Orange County Animal Services.
