JK2 SCENIC’S INTERIOR MAGIC WINS THEM SUBCONTRACTOR PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD

JK2 Scenic was the winner of the 2023 Excellence in Construction Subcontractor Project of the Year Award for their decorative interior millwork package throughout the Orlando Magic’s portion of the AdventHealth Training Center.

Embodying both the Orlando Magic and AdventHealth’s commitment to creating an innovative health and wellness model for pro-level athletes and community members alike, the AdventHealth Training Center in Downtown Orlando is an industry-leading example of health and wellness buildings featuring a stateof-the-art NBA training facility. The community-centric facility totals 140,000 SF, which includes AdventHealth’s 35,000 SF medical hup and the Orlando Magic’s 105,000 SF world-class training facility.

“We’re proud to be a part of bringing this facility to life, which will serve not only the Orlando Magic, but the Central Florida community as well,” said JK2 Scenic President Julie Holmes. “We’re honored to be recognized in our industry by ABC Central Florida and thank our team members and trade partners for their hard work to get this project to the finish line.”

Every aspect of the Magic’s training facility was intentionally designed and constructed to create a home-like space and features one of the most expansive locker rooms in the league, elevated with high-end finishes, walk-in lockers, and infrared sauna and steam room and gives players access to leading training and recovery technologies. JK2 Scenic effectively used natural materials, including stone and white oak wood walls, fill the practice, training and office spaces bringing the unique aesthetic of the facility.
