World of Weddings is more than a conference. It is a place to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and grow—both personally and professionally. Over the next few days, I encourage you to be inspired, be open-minded, be curious, and be ready to grow. But most importantly, don’t simply attend—participate. 2026 Recap [t has been a year for the Association of Bridal Consultants! Throughout 2026, we continued building an ABC that honors our 71-year legacy while preparing our members for the future of the wedding and event industry. This year, we strengthened our focus around four important pillars: Education, Advocacy, Revenue, and Networking—ensuring that everything we do creates meaningful value for our members. We expanded educational opportunities through our Wednesday Webinars, certification programs, mentorship opportunities, and professional designations. We continued developing our destination wedding and travel programs, giving members new ways to expand their expertise and create additional streams of revenue. We also continued to grow ABC Weddings Unveiled, Wedding Planner Magazine, our local networking opportunities, and partnerships throughout the wedding, hospitality, and travel industries. Our Trendsetter Awards gave us another opportunity to recognize the incredible talent, professionalism, and accomplishments within our ABC community. Most importantly, 2026 reminded us that ABC is more than programs, certifications, and benefits. ABC is its people. Every member who attended a meeting, welcomed someone new, earned a designation, took a course, shared their expertise, volunteered, collaborated, or stepped into leadership helped move this Association forward. As we celebrate everything accomplished in 2026, we are already looking toward an exciting 2027—one that will bring new education, stronger partnerships, expanded opportunities, and new ways for our members to connect, grow, and earn. Thank you for being part of the journey—and for being a moving part of ABC. The best of ABC is still ahead.

2027 Opportunity
Looking Ahead: ABC 2027 As we move into 2027, we are building on the momentum of this year with new partnerships, expanded education, and more ways for our members to learn, connect, earn, and grow. We are excited to expand ABC’s reach through new industry relationships - partnerships with WSPI, EventQuo, and The Wedding Masterclasswhile continuing to strengthen our connections throughout industry. These collaborations will introduce our members to new education, resources, relationships, and opportunities beyond our own community. Education will continue to be at the heart of ABC. Look for an expanded Wednesday Webinar schedule, enhanced certification and designation pathways, mentorship opportunities, destination wedding and travel education, and stronger relationships with colleges and universities preparing the next generation of wedding professionals. We will also create more opportunities to connect —through local meetings, regional experiences, and our new Wedding Immersion experience. We will continue developing programs that help members turn their knowledge and relationships into new revenue opportunities. In 2027, we want you to do more than belong to ABC. Get involved. Show up. Volunteer. Collaborate. Mentor. Lead. Share your voice. There is a place for you in what we are building.2027 is not simply the next year of ABC. It is the next chapter—and we are writing it together.
